Soon we will be launching a brand-new feature in the Tixl Wallet — click-to-send to any Telegram contact!
When we started designing the Wallet, we wanted to build the best one we could, something different that wasn’t like any other Wallet. We designed it with the following goals and considerations in mind:
- We wanted to make the user experience as intuitive as possible.
- We wanted to address the “challenge” that crypto addresses are long, complicated, almost impossible to remember, and need to be copy/pasted. There is also always the risk of making a mistake with the address.
With the upcoming Wallet release, we have solved all the problems above by offering to connect Telegram. We chose Telegram as the first messenger that has achieved wide acceptance in the crypto-community and has recently increased in popularity due to WhatsApp privacy policy changes.
An example of the ease-of-use below:
Instead of sending to “0x002E1a0EFEAF2f92e4B13a62D1fe6104FD1E8c4A”, for example, you can simply choose “Jon” from your list of Telegram contacts.
- If Jon already has a Tixl Wallet with Telegram connected, he receives the funds immediately — while still enjoying instant transfers with zero fees.
- That’s fine — but what if Jon doesn’t have a Tixl Wallet? We’ve got that covered as well: To make it even better from a user experience standpoint and increase the adoption and usage of the Tixl Wallet, we’ve designed it so you can send funds to people that don’t yet have a Tixl Wallet! They receive a message in Telegram with a link and, by following the link, they can receive the funds.
